Fire Emergency Protocol

Our fire team? They’re the Departmental Heads & Supervisors and our very own employees who make our Health & Safety possible at Woodlands Dairy. Please be aware of their duties listed below. ⏬ #FortheGoodofAll #WoodlandsDairySA #HealthandSafety

SUPERVISOR: 

1. Ensure orderly evacuation to the nearest assembly point.

2. Conduct accurate departmental roll call and hand over information to coordinator.

3. Assist coordinator in ensuring everyone’s safety until “all clear” signal.

EMPLOYEE: 

1. Alert others around you.

2. Shut down operations that could create additional hazards if left unattended, without endangering yourself.

3. Use the nearest exit point, walking calmly. If your escape route is blocked, find an alternative route.

4. Report any observed emergency conditions on your way out (e.g. fire, smoke, spills, structural damage).

5. Stay at the assembly area until further instruction.

6. Do not re-enter the plant until the Emergency Coordinator gives an “all clear” signal, even if the alarm stops.
